Thankful Thursday: October 23

It’s Thankful Thursday! This week, I’m THANKFUL for:

    • Exquisite Indian corn, glinting and glistening in lines of perfectly polished autumn jewels; peculiar pumpkins—brown-skinned, beaded, and speckled; and multi-colored gourds of all shapes, sizes and textures…
    • Early morning walks beside grass blades and violet leaves garbed in suits and gowns of dainty ice-lace and sprinkled with sunbeams jewels.
    • Time with my husband, winding all around the streets of downtown, play-planning what each empty lot and abandoned building ought to hold…
    • All the fall lovelies—crimson, green, burnt sienna and gold—glowing against dark gray, low-lying clouds.
    • A manageable work week while we were short-staffed.
    • Apple season, especially a wonderful little silver variety…
