Photo Friday: Wild Roses, Twigs, and Pinecone

This week has been busier than usual, and for one reason or another, I’ve scarcely gotten more that a rushed moment of computer time every here and again! Still, it would be a shame not to post one little picture of these lovely wild white roses.

My mom noticed them in front of the pond across from her childhood home and trekked over to take a peek. She returned with a deeply fragrant, artistically arranged handful of roses, twigs, and pinecone and I was lucky enough to snap a picture! There’s just something so right about the casual combinations; every time I see the photo, it quiets my soul in a gentle way.

Next addition to the garden: Wild roses! Well, one of these days at least…
