What a Wonderful Word!

Eddy (noun):
1. Circular movement of air or water.
2. Contrary or circular current of thought or policy.


Putting that Wonderful Word to Work!

The wooded cliffs behind her new home, Jana soon discovered, harbored a small but steep waterfall.  Off the beaten path, over a mossy fallen log, and down a shaded ridge, it became her favorite spot to sit and think, watching the water swirl in eddies around the rocky riverbed before careening over the edge and colliding with the boulders below.
